Just home from a lovely holiday in Cornwall. Booked in for swim with horses but unfortunately it was cancelled due to the weather so went on a beach ride instead. It was awesome. Chris and Anna were so friendly and the lovely Gino gave me a fantastic ride. Felt like I was riding at home with friends. Would highly recommend this experience. I will be back next year. Thanks so much to Chris Anna and Shelley for your hospitality.
Had a wonderful time last Sunday, Swimming With Horses, thanks especially to Shel, Chris and Chips but everyone was so very nice, helpful, accepting.

Wow! what an experience, something quite magical.
Horses and the sea! two of my favourite things, even as an experienced rider there still were some nerves at first but these were very soon expelled by Chris and Shel being so kind and helpful and as for the horses so beautifully behaved, they were so happy and natural, the horses really did enjoy it too with Chaska leaping in the sea! I even enjoyed the riding bareback to get to the beach just as much, reminded me of being a teenager!
Highly recommend can't wait to go back. So glad I found this wonderful place.
We stayed with Cornwall Swimming Horses for the entire riding holiday package. The accommodation was incredible - a beautiful yurt in a private woodland. The accommodation provided all the fun and rustic outdoor living of camping but with the essential home comforts that we needed after a day of riding - cooking facilities, wifi, comfy beds and the most refreshing outdoor hot water shower. The campfire, outdoor eating space and rope swings were a lovely touch too. As for the riding - never experienced anything like it before! The Cornwall Swimming Horses provide capable riders with an incredible experience - they're forward, fun and most importantly for me, genuinely enjoy their work. As an advanced rider, I often struggle to find riding holidays which push my limits and set me a challenge which these off road rides certainly provided. We even had the opportunity to work with Chris on his latest project - two 'straight off the moor' colts that were in for handling and backing. A brilliant learning opportunity. Can't recommend Chris and his team of horses enough. See you guys again very soon!
Had a fantastic ride with Chris! We went on a Riding for Riders ride on the moorland for a full day and it was one of the best riding experiences I've had. Rainy and windy day was well spent. Would definitely recommend Cornwall Swimming Horses for a more experienced rider who would like to go on an adventure. A few spots were good enough for a nice canter and an occasional gallop. Will be sure to have a ride with them again when I'm back in Cornwall! The horses were very well behaved but not opposed to going forward, especially loved my mount Gino.
Swimming with horses was a fantastic experience. Having not ridden much recently there was an element of nervousness, especially ridding bareback but I needn't have worried in the slightest, it all came flooding back and Chris was so patient. The time flew by and I know I will be back to this fabulous and relaxed stables for another ride very soon.
